Dataspace4Luxembourg today announced that LuxProvide, operator of the MeluXina supercomputer, has become the first organization to officially join under the new Dataspace4Luxembourg brand. In parallel, LuxProvide has also confirmed its membership in Gaia-X, the European initiative for sovereign and interoperable data infrastructures.

Strengthening the Dataspace4Luxembourg Community

By joining Dataspace4Luxembourg, LuxProvide strengthens a community that builds on the foundations of Dataspace4Health. All members gain access to the reference architecture, federated catalogue, identity and trust services, data contract and exchange modules, and deployment toolkits—open source assets that can be reused across multiple sectors.

Membership in Gaia-X

LuxProvide’s decision to join Gaia-X aligns with Luxembourg’s broader strategy to advance secure and sovereign data ecosystems. By bringing its supercomputing expertise into the Gaia-X framework, LuxProvide ensures that MeluXina supports European standards for interoperability, trust, and data sovereignty.

MeluXina as a Dataspace and AI Enabler

With the upcoming MeluXina AI, LuxProvide will extend Luxembourg’s most powerful supercomputing infrastructure, enabling organizations to derive meaningful insights from data accessible through dataspaces. AI is also becoming the standard approach to extract value from unstructured data, making it discoverable and usable within the dataspace framework.

This positions MeluXina as a cornerstone for dataspaces and AI in Luxembourg, providing the capacity for organizations across industries to design, deploy, and scale solutions that unlock the full value of their data.
